Complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed. The success of treatment depends on factors such as: 

•  The type of stain. 
•  How long the stain has been present. 
•  Previous attempts to remove it. 
•  The carpet or fabric material. 
•  Whether the stain has permanently altered or bleached the fibres. 

Some stains, such as bleach damage, permanent dyes, paint, rust, or certain chemical reactions. May not be removable, but treatment can often reduce their appearance.
